Soleseife translates to brine and Soleseife soap is called "Seaman's Soap" or "Sailor's Soap". This cold process soap is made with fresh seawater from local Pacific Northwest Puget Sound inlets. The water is collected, strained, and boiled prior to soapmaking. Gentle, skin-loving oils of Olive and Avocado along with Shea and Cocoa Butters combine with cruelty-free Peace Silk to culminate in a wonderful soap that has a plethora of bubbles and creamy lather. The color of this bar comes entirely from organic Himalayan Rhubarb Root powder, hence the name! Scented Seawater Fresh in keeping with the seawater theme. Suitable for normal to dry skin.

Each bar of soap from Ascent Soap Co. is handmade, hand cut, and hand-packaged. Every ingredient is safe, natural, and ethically sourced. We use skin-safe phthalate-free scents for fragrance, natural colorants from plants, botanicals, and clays, and pure, skin-loving oils (no pre-made bases, fillers, detergents, or preservatives). Many of our additives are sourced botanicals from our organic backyard gardens, harvested by hand and infused, dried and/or powdered.

Tip: To extend the life of your soap, keep dry between uses. Use a draining soap dish and keep away from direct streams of water.
