The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulates soap. Ascent Soap Co. follows the CPSC guidelines for marketing all ASC soaps. All ingredients are listed for each soap. It is up to the consumer to read and understand the ingredients. Although reactions to any of ASC's soaps would be a rarity, spot testing is recommended whether the consumer knows of any potential allergens or not. Ascent Soap Co. is not responsible for consumer reactions to ingredients in purchased soap.
