Bastille Brine is made with sea water from Saltwater State Park, a well-known Puget Sound park in the Pacific Northwest. The sea water is collected, strained, and boiled prior to soapmaking. Like Castile soap, Bastille is renowned for its gentleness. While Castile contains simply olive oil, Bastille has added oils. ASC's Bastille Brine brings the benefits of sea water minerals and salt to an 85% olive oil bar enlivened with coconut and castor for soaping benefits of increased lather and bubbles. This is a gentle, skin-loving soap with a plethora of bubbles and a creamy lather. Suitable for normal to dry skin.
