The Salt Scrub Soap is formulated to be used optimally in conjunction with our Working Hands Soap for dirt and grease-encrusted hands that really need all the cleaning help they can get. The scrub is designed to not only scrub but provide a layer of skin-nourishing oil once the scrub is rinsed off. For this reason, we recommend using the hand soap first, followed by the salt scrub. This because the Working Hands Soap is not formulated for anything but scrubbing and skin will need moisturizing after use. The scrub eliminates the need for a moisturizer but also finishes up the scrub job. A small scoop from the jar and as you add a bit of water, the salt, oils and soap will continue the cleansing process. This scrub soap is non-lathering as the oil and salt inhibit same. Never fear, the soap is doing its job! Once rinsed off, your skin will have a protective oil-rich barrier.
