Spiced Charcoal is formulated specifically to aid those with skin issues and those with sensitive skin. Lard is the primary oil in that its cellular composition is incredibly close to human skin composition, thus it has a similar PH and is therefore extremely gentle. In addition, it has properties proven to aid in reducing acne and pore size. We've added other non-comedogenic oils along with activated charcoal for this facial soap to aid in your overall skin care routine to help alleviate issues while gently cleansing without drying. The essential oils of Cinnamon, Tea Tree and Peppermint all contribute antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Each bar of soap from Ascent Soap Co. is handmade, hand cut, and hand-packaged. Every ingredient is safe, natural, and ethically sourced. We use skin-safe phthalate-free scents for fragrance, natural colorants from plants, botanicals, and clays, and pure, skin-loving oils (no pre-made bases, fillers, detergents, or preservatives). Many of our additives are sourced botanicals from our organic backyard gardens, harvested by hand and infused, dried and/or powdered.

Tip: To extend the life of your soap, keep dry between uses. Use a draining soap dish and keep away from direct streams of water.
