This brine or seawater soap is crafted with Sea Buckthorn, rosehips and buttermilk. Rosehips is one of the most nutritionally packed fruit of any plant -rich in anti-oxidants and is an astringent. Sea Buckthorn is packed with antioxidants, essential fatty acids (which rebuild cells), is hydrating, anti-inflammatory and can aid to relieve skin issues. Buttermilk aids to cleanse skin and promote cell turnover, has anti-inflammatory and hydrating properties, and can aid to reduce acne and blackheads. Mango and shea butters, along with olive and avocado oil combine with the botanicals and milk to culminate in a true workhorse that is at the same time sumptuously decadent. Each bar of soap from Ascent Soap Co. is handmade, hand cut, and hand-packaged. Every ingredient is safe, natural, and ethically sourced. We use skin-safe phthalate-free scents for fragrance, natural colorants from plants, botanicals, and clays, and pure, skin-loving oils (no pre-made bases, fillers, detergents, or preservatives). Many of our additives are sourced botanicals from our organic backyard gardens, harvested by hand and infused, dried and/or powdered.
