Our Homestead line of soaps is created with a nod to the pioneering homesteaders who made their own soap using wood ash and animal fat. BB is rustic looking but that's where the similarity ends; it is gentle and skin nourishing with an indulgent slip and multitude of bubbly lather. Beach Bum is a big bar of soap packed full of good things including Spirulina, Shea Butter and Lard all of which are well recognized for the beneficial properties they bring to skin care. BB is scented Lemongrass.

Ingredients: Water, Sodium Hydroxide; Oils: Lard, Coconut, Canola, Castor, Safflower, Shea Butter, and Sunflower. Additives of Spirulina Powder, Yogurt, Sodium Lactate and Citric Acid.

Each bar of soap from Ascent Soap Co. is handmade, hand cut, and hand-packaged. Every ingredient is safe, natural, and ethically sourced. We use skin-safe phthalate-free scents for fragrance, natural colorants from plants, botanicals, and clays, and pure, skin-loving oils (no pre-made bases, fillers, detergents, or preservatives). Many of our additives are sourced botanicals from our organic backyard gardens, harvested by hand and infused, dried and/or powdered.

Tip: To extend the life of your soap, keep dry between uses. Use a draining soap dish and keep away from direct streams of water.
