Soaping is a soul satisfying process that is both creative and artistic. Learning to soap means delving into the many facets of the soaping process itself -but also into the scientific and chemical aspects. On the most basic level - combine lye and oil and you have - seemingly magically - Soap! There is so much more than just that base magic, however and to create a truly wonderful bar of soap - a love of soaping comes into play along with one's creativity and imagination.

ASC is a woman-owned, small business and as such, each batch of soap is made individually, with care, love, and a deep appreciation for those who will use the soap.

We source organically and ethically and attempt to reduce carbon footprint to the smallest possible degree. Many of the botanicals used in ASC soaps are harvested locally by us - backyard gardens and PNW locales - and infused into the oils used in our soaps.
